Agency History

KenCrest Services is a private, non-profit, charitable agency founded in 1905. For more than 106 years we have provided the highest quality of care to individuals who have, or are at risk of having, developmental delays. Early Intervention, Head Start, childcare, residential, vocational, and recreational services are provided in homes and community facilities throughout southeastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Connecticut.

A picture is worth a thousand words and the picture above is a good example of what our team strives for when we take a child into our care.  When a child is entrusted to our care, our dedicated team works cohesively with the child's medical team and family to provide a positive, happy outcome.

Discharges occur on average within two years of admission.  While in our care, the Program Specialist and Care Coordinator work closely to ensure that all of the child's needs are met.  Our full time Social Worker works closely with the family to foster reunification. We have a special team of dedicated employees, from the staff working in the homes  to our administrative staff, who are on call twenty four hours a day.

The ultimate outcome is for every child to be with their "forever" family.
